The Q graders in our cupping lab scored this coffee 85.5.

Kilimanjaro Classic was sourced from coffee producers across the Kilimanjaro region, making it a perfect example of what the region has to offer. Gee General is a specialist parchment-buying company that operates solely in Kilimanjaro, buying parchment from small farms and milling the coffee at the Rifiki Coffee Limited Dry Mill. The Rafiki Mill was built in 1997 and today services 60 percent of the coffees produced in northern Tanzania. In the areas Gee General buys from, producers pulp their coffee cherries with hand-cranked machines and wash and ferment the beans in buckets. The coffee is then dried on raised beds or floor mats. Once it’s dry, it’s brought to the Rafiki Mill for hulling and grading.
